General Summary:
We are searching for a Software Developer to support our company’s move to modernize our information technology. Responsibilities involve writing innovative programs for our proprietary ERP system with the goal of supporting our end users’ needs in the following areas; store, ecommerce, customer service, senior management, and warehouses/distribution centers.
- Software developer responsibilities include analysis, designing, preparing, coding, testing, debugging, and developing software to meet the company’s strategic plans and objectives
- Developing data integrations and automation to leverage data between systems
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring users from completing their work or interrupting sales
- Perform other special projects or duties when required
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining ERP systems utilizing a Multivalued database – Reality, JBase, D3, Unidata/Universe, Cache, OpenQM
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Detailed analytical skills
- Strong time management skills
- Structured troubleshooting skills
- Build and define test plans and/or test data
- Evoke by BlueFinity (Rapid Application Development) & JavaScript experience helpful
- Visual Basic MV/API and VBA Code experience helpful (note: replacing VB with Evoke)
- Experience writing/maintaining XML code
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is strongly preferred.
