The Senior Business Strategist, Product, Strategy, Sales and Marketing (PSSM) works across Product, Strategy, Sales and Marketing (PSSM) domains to identify strategic themes, goals and objectives common to all lines of business (LOBs). This position participates in development and communication of strategic and execution plan which will directly impact membership growth, retention and consumer satisfaction. This role will blend product acumen, strategic thinking, and overall program management proficiencies to drive key initiatives through intra-team work which will ultimately bring value to members and providers.
Formulates product strategies, develops playbooks, roadmaps, and recognizes which organizational strategic /ops pillars are necessary at building cross-functional partnerships. Drives change, and influences the creation of evolving processes to drive business objectives. In partnership with the senior leadership, this role will collaborate closely with leadership overseeing Medi-Cal, Medicare, Commercial Products, Sales & Marketing and respective teams to align and prioritize product initiatives.
Partner with senior leadership across PSSM and key stakeholders to evaluate product data, industry reports and competitor landscape to define the long-term strategy and establish a multiyear plan of strategic investment across product lines.
In collaboration with other PSSM teams SMEs, builds foundation for the framework to develop a PSSM strategic playbook by assessing industry trends and opportunities while incorporating broader Corporate, Brand and Sales strategies.
Assembles, facilitates and drives cross functional workgroups with key stakeholder partners within matrixed environment to execute on strategic initiatives.
Build strategic foundations to an informed plan and roadmap plan development by establishing a ‘think tank’ or strategy forum to discuss and assess industry trends, strategic opportunities while incorporating broader Corporate objectives into one strategic roadmap.
Partner with Sales & Marketing and play a key role in the go-to-market approach for our core line of business domains, helping to define target retention and new member opportunities.
Establish and maintain PSSM strategic playbook which informs product pipeline of initiatives.

Required:
A minimum of 6-8 years related experience working in healthcare industry or related field.
Experience planning, facilitating and leading cross-functional work groups within a matrix environment.
Preferred:
Healthcare, and/or Health plan, and/or product development and management experience.
Required:
Knowledgeable in navigating a matrix environment working effectively cross functionally, and having the ability to identify the business levers that impact the overall consumer experience.
