As a Director of People, you will design, lead, and scale Labviva’s HR Business Partnering Function. This role will report to, and partner with, the VP of Operations, to create and execute on Labviva’s People Strategy.
Position is based out of our Boston, MA office.
How You Will Contribute
Direct the People Team including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of new staff
Lead resolution of human resources, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns and issues
Lead major people processes including workforce planning, succession planning, review and compensation cycles
Coach and advise our leaders in their efforts to strengthen their management bench and build teams that scale
Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
Assist management with creating clear career paths with specific skills and steps required for promotion and/or advancement within the organization
Oversee payroll processing including state tax registrations, workers compensation and other regulatory requirements
Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures
What You Bring to the Team
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a leadership capacity
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, benefits management, organization diagnosis, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management and employment laws
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience With One of More of the Following
TriNet, ADP, or similar payroll system
Applicant tracking systems and job posting boards
Microsoft Office and Google Suite
