LBX Company LLC, maker of Link-Belt excavators, forestry, demolition, and scrap/material handling equipment, has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist.
Position Summary:
Working in a team environment, this is a non-supervisory position that will oversee the administrative and tactical operations of Human Resources. The priorities include responsibilities in the following areas: processing payroll, benefits administration, administering the recruitment process, onboarding, compliance reporting, and HRIS system (Paycom) management.
Essential Functions:
20% – Performs benefits administration including troubleshooting and claims resolution by interfacing with employees and benefit carriers, change reporting, reviewing invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees. Prepares and presents the annual benefits open enrollment.
15% – Administer the recruitment process. Load updated Job Descriptions in our HRIS system. Post open positions once approval has been obtained to start the recruitment process. Write and place advertisements. Conduct onboarding for all new hires.
15% – Processes payroll and associated benefit activities (401k, Heath care, etc.); reviews payroll information and communicates information to necessary departments.
15% – Manage the employee performance review process (feed forward). Compiles and maintains all human resources information contained in the HRIS system. (Checklists, benefits, job descriptions, etc.) Creates new employee folders and files new employee materials including on-boarding paperwork, training materials and other paper-based information. Maintains and updates company organizational charts, headcount reports, and other files as needed.
10% – Continually looks for & recommends opportunities to implement process improvements for HR-related activities. Reviews policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at least annually and updates as needed. Collaborates with Human Resources Management with reviewing and providing comments on revisions and updates to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws, government requirements and regulations.
10% – Administers HR statutory requirements such as: COBRA administration update notices / tracking payment log, FMLA, STD, EEO, ACA, FAS106, etc. per local, state, and federal guidelines.
10% – Facilitates the Philanthropy Committee as well as the events designated by the committee. Prepares HR department card expense reports in Concur and completes invoice approvals in Trindocs system.
5% – Maintains effective communication throughout the organization. Assists HR management with various research or special projects.
