Come grow with us! Lemieux & Associates, a leader in the Private Investigations industry, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Talent Acquisition and Training Manager. This is a full-time, remote position for the right individual.
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Talent Acquisition and Training Manager will be responsible for company-wide recruiting for both internal and external sources. This person will partner with managers to understand and fulfill their department staffing needs, recruit and hire a superior and diverse workforce by identifying quality candidates, communicating the advantages of Lemieux & Associates employment, determining requirements and applicant qualifications, interviewing applicants, establishing salary, making conditional offers, obtaining offer acceptances and completing the onboarding process. This person will also have sole responsibility for company-wide training of new and current employees by designing, planning and implementing training programs.
Essential Duties and Functions:
Utilizes various internet sources and vendors, identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role and department needs.
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Involved with screening potential applicants, making recommendations and supporting hiring managers in the interview process.
Coordinate second interviews with the Senior Case Managers as needed.
Perform reference and background checks.
Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process.
Attends and participates in recruitment events as needed.
Reviews existing training programs, suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning and retention.
Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate and effective.
Identifies gaps in training and develops or delegates development of programming accordingly.
Oversees all activities focused on scheduling, documenting and tracking training.
Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies related to training and recruitment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area preferred.
At least two years of experience in recruiting and training.
One year of supervisory experience preferred.
SHRM – CP or HRCI – PHR preferred.
Experience with ISolved talent and recruitment modules preferred.
