Job Summary
Leviat in North America is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and energetic Human Resources Director with a passion for contributing to a high performance, customer focused and inclusive culture. The successful candidate, who will be a key member of the North America Regional Leadership Team, will be accountable for continuing to drive people related transformation initiatives and change programs across North America. Partnering with the Regional President and broader North America Leadership Team, they will also bring creative and effective short and long-term solutions to a growing organisation. The position will report directly to the Regional President North America, with a dotted line to the Global VP Human Resources, this role will have responsibility for the North America HR team.
Job Responsibilities
Execute, plan and implement both tactical and strategic HR and Talent Management processes within North America, partnering with the Regional President and fellow Leadership Team members
Drive overall recruitment and workforce planning requirements, working closely with the CRH Recruitment Center
Champion performance management and employee development programs creating an environment of professional growth and one that supports our desire to be an employer of choice
Working closely with the Regional Leadership Team ensuring appropriate team structures and rewards are in place to support the business in effectively delivering its strategy
Lead employment practices that ensure effective management procedures that support not only the letter of the law but the spirit of the law
Manage day to day employee and labour issues – provide employee relations guidance and support to the Leadership/ Managers to ensure an optimal environment exists for employees to perform at their best. Ensure legal compliance and consistency in the handling of employee matters
Nurture and develop a culture that supports the delivery of high performance, customer focus and inclusion
Attract, develop, mentor and retain talent to ensure an engaged workforce that supports the delivery of current and future HR goals
Job Requirements
Significant experience of leading a progressive Human Resources responsibility and management experience
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Master’s degree, Professional certification(s) (PHR, SPHR or SHRM) and collective bargaining experience a plus.
