Job Description:
We are seeking an HR Business Partner that will support our Flight Academy Operation and advise in the areas of total rewards, employee engagement, employee relations, talent management, talent acquisition, learning & development, performance management and legal compliance.
Essential Functions:
Serve as HR Business Partner to provide HR support to the Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) Sanford, FL Flight Academy in the areas of talent acquisition and talent management, compensation, employee engagement, employee relations, learning & development, legal compliance, analytics & reporting, and performance management.
Provide leadership, direction, counsel/coaching, and business analytics that enables leaders to make sound talent decisions and promote employee engagement and healthy/positive/productive employee relations.
Partner with client groups to build and execute upon talent plans in achievement of overall business strategy, objectives, and goals, with particular focus in quickly filling critical roles with strong talent.
Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend, and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner.
Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned.
Improve HR processes in support of the business to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate a positive OnBoarding experience for all new hires.
Build and maintain effective working relations with management and employees to provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters.
Promotes high professional standards, positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates L3Harris values at all times.
Qualifications:
Four (4) years’ experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related area, or a minimum of two (2) years’ experience with an MBA or Master’s degree.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching and consulting skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to link situations to the bigger picture; ability to identify root cause and underlying issues,
Adaptability, with the ability to successfully operate in a matrixed environment.
Ability to work as a solid contributing member of a team as well as operate independently.
Effectively interact will all levels of management.
Demonstrated attention to detail and acting with a sense of urgency.
Experience working in a government contracting and/or high tech environment.
Experience supporting touch labor in a manufacturing environment.
