HR Generalist
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per annum

Position Overview:
The HR Generalist will play a central role in managing the daily human resource operations. With a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, they will guide HR practices and objectives to nurture an employee-oriented, high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, including drafting and placing advertisements, conducting interviews, and overseeing the onboarding processes.
• Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems, as well as safety and recreation programs.
• Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend necessary changes.
• Manage employee relations, addressing any disputes or misunderstandings.
• Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of roles and job positions.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
• Plan and conduct training sessions and meetings on HR-related topics.
• Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to benefit programs.
• Maintain records and generate statistical reports regarding HR-related data such as hires, transfers, performance reviews, and absenteeism rates.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Profound knowledge of the manufacturing industry’s specific challenges and opportunities in HR.
• Solid understanding of interviewing processes, benefits administration, payroll, and other essential HR functions.
• Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
