Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
Conduct full cycle recruiting to include constructing and placing job postings and advertisements, screening of resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, developing interview questionnaires
Heavy sourcing for Federal Contracting positions.
Identify the best talent pools through various recruitment methods, networks and social media, while offering innovative solutions
Effectively screen candidates for suitability via resume reviews and phone screenings
Continually improve recruitment process to ensure a pleasant experience for hiring managers and candidates
Assist with the development of job descriptions, hiring criteria, interview methods & process, and training
Collaborate with hiring managers to thoroughly understand hiring plans, job requirements and work with them to draft appropriate job advertisements
Act as liaison between hiring manager and candidates, assisting with scheduling and coordination of interviews, along with pre-employment assessments, as needed
Work closely with candidates through their application life-cycle from start to finish.
Work closely with hiring managers to clarify job requirements and build a strong working relationship
Mentor hiring managers on appropriate legal hiring/interviewing practices and procedures.
Be an ambassador of the LS&S brand in all interactions with potential candidates by presenting the company as an employer of choice in its targeted markets
Grow and maintain personal/professional networks to enhance recruiting efforts by establishing a presence in relevant professional groups and associations.
Maintain correspondence, interview notes, applicant forms and candidate status in recruiting files/records, as well as in our applicant tracking system
Ensure proper documentation for all company hiring efforts to include compliance with Title VII, OFCCP, ADA EEOC regulations, and regulations pertaining to government contracting
Familiarity with automation of HR Information Systems including Applicant Tracking Systems and Onboarding processes
Keep up to date with current employment legislation and ensure that supervisors are effectively briefed on any relevant changes
Possess the ability to provide routine/ad hoc reports and requested information related to recruiting metrics to the HR Manager on a regular basis

Qualifications:
An individual should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet the amount of education, training and/or work experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 3-5 years of relevant experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience with sourcing and hiring for federal and/or federal contracting
Prior experience with applicant tracking systems required
Proficient on Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word; experience with HRIS and applicant management applications a plus
Experience with full life cycle government contractor recruiting preferred
Strong Knowledge of DOL, EEOC, OFCCP and VEVRAA to ensure full compliance in the federal and state hiring regulations as well as labor law compliance
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines while staying organized and responsive to internal and external customers.
Must have the ability and willingness to develop relationships across all levels of the organization.
Team collaboration, strong work ethic, and excellent verbal & written communication skills
Proven ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a diverse team of individuals at all organizational levels, exercise good judgment
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, via formal presentations, electronically or through other means to individuals or groups
Demonstrated knowledge of Social Media recruiting tools and techniques essential for this position. Must have the ability to recruit on multiple social media platforms.
Proficient knowledge of sourcing tools, job boards, and job networks required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as computer screens or detailed paperwork.
Occasionally lift, push/pull, hold/carry of items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds such as files, books, and other materials.
Work Location:
This position will be hybrid and should be able to commute to our Rockville & DC offices as needed.
The position could require travel from time to time to job sites and recruitment events. The amount of travel expected would be about 15-20%.
