Full Job Description
Reporting directly to the plant HR Manager, the HR Generalist acts as both a Generalist and coach to managers on a broad range of human resource issues, with a primary focus on recruitment and staffing. The position contributes to company performance by providing tactical HR support that facilitates the achievement of business goals and objectives. The HR Generalist assists with the development and implementation of plant staffing plan, while ensuring the organization remains in compliance with employment related state and federal regulations. Responsibilities encompass talent acquisition, employee relations, policy interpretation, benefits administration and application.
This position is based out of Westminster, South Carolina.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college in business administration, human resources, recruiting or other closely related field; and a minimum of 1-3 years related experience, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR certification preferred. Required to obtain within one year of employment.
