Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, the Senior Recruiting Manager will be a member of the People & Culture of Malk Partners and lead recruitment function in a rapidly scaling business. This role is a new addition to the People & Culture team and will work with Senior Recruiting Associate on the team. The recruitment function serves as a business partner to the company by bringing end to end expertise in recruiting to direct the delivery of complex, scaled hiring at all levels. This role will help develop, drive, and executive on the strategies that support our recruiting organization, including building diverse talent pipelines, creating sourcing execution, driving a positive candidate experience, and creating a smooth transition into life at Malk.

Core Competencies & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a compelling talent acquisition strategy that drives competitiveness in the marketplace and drives an employer value proposition that attracts diverse talent at all levels
• Conduct talent searches for leadership level positions and new business lines
• Compile, analyze, and communicate market data and trends to influence the recruitment strategy
• Facilitate effective passive and active talent pipelining strategies through creative and strategic sourcing practices, campus recruitment, workforce diversity initiatives, interactive marketing plans, and networking opportunities
• Build and enhance recruiting technological capabilities through HRIS and workflow tools
• Train broader team members on recruitment best practices and standard questions for accurate descriptions of roles and a consistent candidate experience
• Oversee onboarding execution and process design to create a seamless handoff experience
• Keep a pulse on emerging trends and offerings in recruitment that support Malk’s long-term strategic goals
• Coach, develop, and inspire People & Culture team members to attract high potential candidates and motivate the team to perform against set objectives
• Cultivate a high performing service delivery culture focused on consistency, quality, and velocity

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Recruiting, ideally with some oversight or management of the function
• Experience building a function and/or in a high-growth environment is a plus
• In-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience of creating recruiting strategies
• Ability to use business acumen to translate the business and talent strategies into operational approaches
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence, liaise with, and advise the business, recruitment team, and broader Corporate Functions team
• Comfort with navigating ambiguity and defining direction and solutions in a fast paced constantly evolving environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities at once
• Must have a proactive, collaborative, and motivated mindset
• Inspirational leadership style combined with a hands-on approach
