The Marcum Human Resources team in the New York Region is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to support the Human Resources Managers with administrative duties, running reports and ad hoc projects. The Human Resources Coordinator must be a self-starter who is very detail oriented and has the ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively. In addition, the Human Resources Coordinator should have an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources and able to work from the NYC office 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
Data entry into the HRIS system (including but not limited to new hire information, transfers, personnel changes, and terminations).
Assist with onboarding.
Assist in performance management cycles.
Support the Firm’s recruiting efforts.
Ad hoc reporting and filing.
Assist in office event planning.
Assist with other ad hoc HR administrative duties.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree focusing on Human Resources or related field, or recent graduate with a degree on Human Resources
The ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook preferred but not required
For job requisitions posted to our New York City locations, Marcum LLP is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range. This compensation range is specific to our New York City locations and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $25-$30/hour.
