ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Acts as the primary point of contact for the corporate HR department.
Provides exceptional customer service to all levels of associates via phone, in person conversations and/or through emails/written correspondence.
Provides administrative support to HR leadership as needed (outlook calendar management/meetings scheduling, PCard & expense report reconciliation, etc.)
Coordinates and oversees the execution of annual events.
Administers all aspects of associate relations programs including: parking and transit, service awards, courtesy cards, birthday and anniversary celebrations, monthly lunchroom, holiday gift cards, etc.
Supports administration of company and/or legal processes/requirements such as new hire orientation, performance review administration, benefits administration to include weekly/bi-annual benefit eligibility processes, EEO-1 filings, OSHA filings/logs, unemployment compensation processing, etc.
Performs administrative support functions for the corporate HR department. Processes incoming HR department mail; makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; maintains office supply inventory; orders name plates; processes vendor invoices and expense reports for payment; schedules meetings, manages calendars for HR leadership, etc.
Maintains personnel files. Prepares new associate files; files documents into appropriate associate files. Processes files for terminated associates.
Performs data entry of associate information into HR systems to include keying of new hires, job changes, terminations, PTO data, training records and other data as needed.
Provides coverage for corporate receptionist role as often as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in an administrative support and/or events planning roles preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, with the proven ability to perform multiple priorities with minimal direct supervision.
Possess skill set to learn and master HR systems as needed, previous experience with PeopleSoft is ideal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred.
Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to handle data with confidentiality, exhibit high ethical standards and maintain a high degree of professionalism.
