About the Senior Manager Of Revenue Operations – Pinterest:
MarketStar is seeking a Senior Manager over Revenue Operations to work out of our Ogden, UT office. Positions are currently work-from-home, with an anticipated partial return to office in early 2022. A successful Senior Manager of Revenue Operations will collaborate with teams across the company to provide a deep technical understanding in a simplified way that inspires action. In this role, you will be responsible for generating insights from data, building dashboards that help leaders and individuals improve how they operate, and help to answer the longer-term strategic questions of our business.
In this role, you will be dynamic and creative, willing to take on any challenge and make a big impact. As you lead a team of revenue operations analysts, you must have the ability and initiative to understand critical business needs, analyze issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify, enhance, and scale best practices. You must be self-driven with a high degree of ownership and have strong business acumen, excellent communication/influencing skills, planning/project management competencies, and expert analytical skills. Additionally, this candidate must be an aggressive and effective collaborator as they act as a liaison between sales and many other internal organizations to obtain and disseminate knowledge.
What will you do?

• Assist during the quarterly quota planning process and apply analytics to ensure optimal coverage models are being used.
• Develop and maintain sales forecasts and other statistical predictive models.
• Provide ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Implements and manages reports and dashboards in Salesforce ensuring sales reps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
• Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
• Provide strategic guidance to business leaders and support data-based decision making.
• Build sophisticated analytical models that further our understanding of the business. Create and present compelling actionable road maps around your findings.
• Manage the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards. Establish monthly cadenced business reporting.
• Partner effectively across various organizations (Finance, BI, IT) to drive insights for the business.
• Independently structure approach to solve complex problems.
• Support Success Operations to understand the data needs of the teams, report on that data and drive actionable insights.
• Partner with Data Engineering to improve the quality of existing data and bring additional data sources in line.
• Build/automate reports/dashboards in Tableau that allow the team to get a clear snapshot of their operations with both leading and lagging indicators.
• Clearly and simply communicate insights to the business partners, emphasizing clarity, completeness and actionability.
• Work closely with sales leadership to inspect sales process effectiveness; identify areas of process improvement and optimization
• Provide actionable insights to sales leadership to inform business decisions and guide sales focus and activity
• Analyze and present reports, which include Pipeline & Revenue Forecasting, Trend, Aggregation of Customer Insights, etc.

Desired attributes for success:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or comparable field of study
• Minimum 5 years in a Business/Sales/Success Operations or similar role
• A solid functional understanding of CRMs; strong experience with creating and maintaining
• reports and dashboards; Salesforce preferred.
• Smart, results-oriented problem solver who lives our values.
• Hypothesis-driven and able to solve analytical business problems with data
• Can work cross-functionally and without direct supervision to deliver sustained results.
• Ability to problem solve independently and prioritize work based on anticipated business value.
• Effective communication skills with technical team members as well as functions across the business. Able to distill complex ideas in straightforward language.
• Advanced Excel Skills (advanced formulas, power pivot, data visualization)
• Understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Ability to interpret data dashboards to identify trends and focus areas
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Experience using data visualization platforms, such as Tableau, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google products (Gmail, Forms, Sheets, etc.)
• Results-oriented with the ability to motivate others and drive performance
• Must have an adaptive management style and the ability to work at micro and macro levels
