The role has global responsibility for our clients P&O data governance.
This role builds the strong foundation for the Reporting & Analytics team members to build and/or change reports/dashboards/analytics products.
The Data Stewardship and Data Governance that this role performs is essential in enabling success for the Reporting & Analytics team because without quality data, their deliverables suffer.
This role works on activating the data privacy measures and data security for the data being used by the Reporting & Analytics team.
Flexes and adapts interpersonal style to work effectively with a diversity of people.
Operates effectively with limited information and a high degree of ambiguity.
Education, Knowledge, Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field such as HR, Business Administration, IT, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of data management in HR.
5+ years of HR information systems experience.
Strong functional knowledge of HR processes and data usage along the associate lifecycle.
Highly analytical and skilled at problem-solving (error detection, root cause analysis, error correction options, recommending best option).
HR systems expertise preferably in Workday (Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, Talent Management, Reporting, PRISM, Security, Integrations), SAP HCM (on premise) and SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, Recruiting, Performance Management, Objective Setting and Development Planning, Learning. Experience in and knowledge of other HR systems will be considered.
Demonstrates system/technical savvy with HR systems and reporting tools i.e. can quickly learn and becoming highly proficient in new systems and tools.
Medium to high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Experience building and maintaining data catalogs or data dictionaries including details beyond definitions e.g. data lineage.
Experience working on a data lake and with data engineers is strongly preferred.
Demonstrates a global mindset and develops approaches that can scale broadly across markets.
Proven project and change management skills.
Excellent communication skills with good written and spoken English.
Experience with data protection laws and practices is preferred but not required.
