Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Talent Acquisition Director establishes, implements, and monitors effective and creative talent acquisition strategies to support Moore’s staffing needs in locations throughout the US. This position attracts top talent to Moore and ensures a positive customer experience for all who interact with company. The Talent Acquisition Director takes a lead role in the optimization of the company’s applicant tracking system, ensuring problem resolution, system improvement, and data integrity. The professional achieves this through identifying trends, driving change, and assessing progress while managing stakeholders’ needs and expectations.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

• Source and recruit assigned roles as well as oversight for the sourcing and recruiting of key leadership roles throughout the enterprise.
• Assist with staffing assignments outside of the above outlined roles occasionally and based on available staffing resources and organizational priorities.
• Establish innovative sourcing strategies to attract top candidates.
• Assist in identifying and tying talent acquisition efforts to enterprise-wide goals.
• Work to identify internal solutions to key openings.
• Serve as business owner of the company’s applicant tracking system to ensure its ongoing problem resolution, improvement, data integrity, and optimization.
• Identify and analyze relevant recruitment performance metrics and use the information to identify trends, drive change, and assess progress.
• Serve as an advisor and strategic liaison to hiring managers and HR professionals, providing staffing in support of strategic business goals and needs.
• Influence key stakeholders, providing partnership and support to bring consensus to the company’s talent acquisition mission.
• Lead the development and implementation of employment marketing approaches for recruiting talent including utilization of emerging technologies (i.e., social media), recognizing opportunities to market the company to a diverse population.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR professionals to ensure a positive new hire onboarding experience while addressing broader strategic workforce and talent planning needs.
• Research, develop. and participate in innovative programs and services to build strong candidate pool and develop diverse pipelines.
• Ensure compliance and appropriate training on recruitment practices and policies.
• Manage talent acquisition annual budget.
• Provide regular reporting on the status of staffing activities and performance.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of the talent acquisition function to determine how recruitment processes and protocols may be streamlined, new talent pools developed, and department resources most effectively deployed.
• Manage and lead the company’s assessment strategy for hiring.
• Partner to design and facilitate leadership training programs for hiring managers to ensure consistency in the selection process.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to juggle priorities, leverage others, and demonstrate short- and long-range organizational planning for self and the function.
• High degree of sense of urgency and tenacity.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, worker’s compensation, wage and hour issues, and labor relations, but not limited to the following statutes and their state and local analogues (where applicable): Title VII, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, ERISA and NLRA.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, human resources management, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in talent acquisition in a multi-unit corporate environment.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, marketing plans, policies, and programs.
• Experience recruiting at executive levels.
• Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creative, marketing, advertising, data, and/or client services.
• Background in employment branding including online channel management and optimization (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
• Minimal travel anticipated; may consist of auto and air travel.
