ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND

OVERALL FUNCTION
This person will be responsible for email, text, and backend production.
Key Responsibilities
- Code and perform quality assurance on emails and text messages that raise money for Democratic PACs and candidates
- Build signup forms and donation pages
- Use SQL or query builders to build targeting queries and reports
- Work with Lead Account Strategist to execute list re-engagement strategies
- Pay close attention to user experience and make enhancements to it
- Build and maintain expertise in the use of multiple email and digital fundraising platforms, including but not limited to ActionKit, Acoustic, and ActBlue

- Commitment to furthering progressive causes and electing Democratic candidates nationwide
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills
- Is excited to learn new skills and is good at working through problems
- Learns quickly and can independently apply what they learn through hands-on experience
- HTML and CSS proficiency
Nice to Haves
- Experience using ActionKit, Acoustic, and/or ActBlue preferred, but not required
- SQL experience preferred, but not required
Experience:
- Relevant experience with campaigns, political fundraising or digital preferred, but not required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position is a full-time role with benefits. The starting salary is $52,000. Mothership Strategies offers a highly competitive benefits package that includes health care, dental, and vision coverage; an up 5% 401k company match, observe federal holidays (exceptions during an election year) paid time off, a healthy living, cell phone, and internet reimbursement, and a continued learning benefit.

Term:
- Regular, Full Time. This is a cycle position with an end date of 12/1/2024. This is a remote position
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Our workforce is remote, with access to an office in DC
- Typically, 40 hours a week although more is required during peak times
- Sedentary work; Extended time spent in front of a computer screen, Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
