The Director Talent Management will design and implement strategy that drives development of key executives, leaders, managers and employees; focusing on organizational effectiveness and ability to positively scale enterprise-wide capacity.
The Director of Talent Management will administer development programs in alignment with Murphy USA’s goals and business needs. This position will oversee organizational development policies and processes, as well as talent identification, succession planning, employee engagement, executive development and coaching, and lead the organization’s performance management process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Play key role in working with our senior executives and other lead stakeholders to build, influence and drive organizational succession and talent philosophies, strategies and programs that allow Murphy USA to meet our corporate goals and objectives.
Drive the design and development of enterprise-wide resources that drive organizational development and effectiveness.
Develop programs to address management and leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational/team development.
Engage with our senior leadership team to define/refine leadership competencies and programs.
Create development strategies that support management team in attaining company goals.
Lead work with executives to ensure culture and change management objectives are aligned with appropriate processes and programs that support them.
Provide organizational development expertise to assist with organizational assessment and development.
Oversee the succession planning processes, and partner with learning and development to administer programs and activities that support talent assessment and succession planning.
Oversee the performance management processes; including business goals, annual performance review, ongoing feedback, and calibration.
Drive employee engagement via surveys and Engagement Ambassador Program that positively and productively address issues and support organizational goals.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Support board-level reporting of succession planning, employee engagement, and inclusion and diversity efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 10+ years related HR experience and/or training, and 4 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
