National Home Health Services Hiring for HR Manager at San Jose, CA Full Time

National Home Health is looking for an experienced HR Manager to help support the company’s Home Health and Hospice operations in the Northern California area. In this position, you are expected to ensure compliance with all state, federal, and JCAHO regulatory requirements.

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program
• Streamline and optimize the company’s hiring practices as well as overall talent acquisition and development
• Bridges upper management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and/or other issues.
• Develops and maintains a positive work environment for all employees.
• Implements improved work methods and procedures to ensure that consistent retention, hiring practices, orientation, and termination procedures are handled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Conducts exit interviews, analyzes turnover, discipline, and other metrics in order to improve the employee retention process
• Provide HR guidance and resources to employees with regard to benefits, compensation, training, company policies, payroll, etc.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of HR disciplines (Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Assessments, OD, Employee Engagement)
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Proven track record of leadership with demonstrated ability to develop talent.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a HR Manager for a mid-size organization (over 500 employees)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources (Master’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience working for a large Home Health Agency is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
