Sr. Talent Development Consultant

The Senior Talent Development Consultant is responsible for the execution of the organizations talent development process. This includes identification of high potentials, coordinating leadership development programs, and supporting career pathway initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leads, owns, and expands the Nationwide Childrens Hospital Grow Our Own program which focuses on growth and development opportunities for internal employees.
• Works to develop programs and partnerships to bridge skills gaps throughout the organization.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to determine the workforce talent development needs.
• Responsible for the Tuition Reimbursement and Scholarship Programs and oversight of day-to-day administration.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with colleges, universities, community training programs, school to work programs, and grant funded initiatives, etc.
• Coordinates and implements talent and career development events.
• Manages the workforce talent development program budget including reviewing proposals, monitoring expenditures and financial planning.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or relevant field.

Certifications:

• Certification in career counseling or coaching methodology desired.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of leadership assessments tools (DiSC, Myers Briggs, etc.).
• Career Counseling, Knowledge of Higher Education Resources, Grant Writing and sponsored projects experience is a also a plus.

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in human resources, talent management, and/or career counseling required.
• Previous program management experience required.
