HR Generalist

NHBB is looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our close knit HR Team in Peterborough, NH. As an integral member of our Team, you will bring your expertise and skills to this role as the HR Generalist that include employee relations, training, compliance, payroll and benefits (to name a few). If you enjoy creating and fostering positive employee relationships, working to align business goals with HR policies, then we want the opportunity to speak with you.
Key responsibilities as the HR Generalist include:
Employee relations resolve employee issues fairly and objectively using appropriate methods.
Compliance and policies adhere to policies and procedures and stay current on employment laws, HR trends and best practices.
Management collaboration partnering with managers and supervisors to engage effectively across the organization.
HRIS and payroll maintain accurate personnel records (hard copy and electronically), and manage applicable disability, workers comp or FMLA needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or a closely related field.
A minimum of two (2) years human resource experience.
Knowledge of HR and employment laws, practices and concepts.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and be able to handle sensitive information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage competing demands in a busy environment.
Proficient with MS Office including Word and Excel.
Well developed sense of humor.
