RESPONSIBILITIES
New York Sports Clubs and our family of brands is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and contributes to the company’s success by driving the entire talent acquisition function. The position will be responsible for developing and executing staffing strategies that identify high-quality, diverse candidates for positions throughout the organization for both field leadership and corporate positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will concentrate on active and passive candidate generation for positions across multiple functional groups and acts as a staffing subject matter expert. This person will serve as the point of contact for all recruiting needs within the company, including managing all recruitment systems and processes, training and developing teams on best sourcing and recruitment methodology, meeting and reporting on Key Performance Indicators, etc. These responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
· Manages the UKG Ready Recruitment module which includes the creation of job requisitions, internal/external pre-screeners for all positions, and manages the hiring workflow stages in the UKG Ready applicant tracking system.
· Responsible for posting positions on hiring networks and job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) and ensuring candidates properly integrate over to our company’s career page to apply in UKG Ready.
· Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
· Consults with hiring managers to understand the hiring needs and profiles of ideal candidates. Sources, recruits, screens, and conducts behavioral interviews to fill diverse and qualified organizational roles.
· Partners with hiring manager regarding salary ranges for open positions to skillfully make job offers, negotiate with candidates, and send rejection notifications.
· Leverages resources within the organization (i.e., marketing, IT) to drive cutting-edge sourcing efforts with the use of social and business networking technology and sources.
· Meets recruiting SLA by providing premium customer service to internal and external customers through efficient and timely feedback and follow through.
· Responsible for analyzing, reporting, and summarizing recruiting performance metrics and reports and devises strategies to enhance processes for optimal outcomes.
· Research and report on salary analysis to assess if competitive with market.
· Works toward set KPIs and helps teams achieve optimal time to hire, retention, sourcing channel efficiency, number qualified candidates, cost per hire, quality of hire, etc.
· Plans and organizes virtual and in-person career fairs to attract the best diverse talent pool using creative advertisement and technology platforms to communicate and schedule interviews with candidates.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
· Develops, Manages, and communicates all recruiting support materials and marketing collateral for both internal and external use based on needs analysis and hiring initiatives.
· Manages background check process with strict confidentiality, facilitates pre and post adverse letters and provides timely feedback to stakeholders.
· Creates job descriptions and success profiles and other recruitment related collateral.
· Continuously models and promotes NYSC and our family of brands mission, and values with pride and integrity, while consistently executing the Company’s Five Agreements.
· Supports the HR team with various administration, projects execution and additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Must have at least 3-5 years of high-volume retail recruiting experience hiring for all levels, knowledge, and proficiency of Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS.
· 2+ years of UKG Ready Recruitment module experience required.
· Proficient with orchestrating, navigating, and posting positions for Career Fairs, social media, and job boards, i.e., LinkedIn and Indeed.
· Knowledgeable about recruiting compliance regulations, federal, state, and local laws i.e., background check, adverse action, salary history, FCRA, etc.
· Must have strong software skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and other related software programs.
· Intimate knowledge processing through hiring stages from creating job requisitions to verification of credentials.
· Experience with creating and maintaining recruiting metrics including analysis, reporting, and proposing advanced solutions.
· Experience working in a challenging and demanding environment, must be dependable, self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
· Superior verbal/ written communication skills, and effective interpersonal and consultative skills.
· Strong behavioral interview and candidate assessment skills with the ability to evaluate, calibrate and document.
· Experienced providing premium customer service and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for all applicants.
· In-depth knowledge of developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies, i.e., internet sourcing and passive recruitment.
· Strong aptitude to multi-task, influence, consult and negotiate.
· Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent follow through.
· Proficient in applicable HR knowledge related to compliance, labor laws and recruiting processes, compensation, benefits, and training trends as they relate to staffing.
