Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the full cycle talent acquisition function for the Strategic Deterrent Systems division. The Talent Acquisition Director will develop and implement the hiring strategy, with a focus on building pipelines of specialized, technical talent to support the capture and execution of large programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Executive leadership, Talent Acquisition and HR business partner teams to drive strategic sourcing, recruiting and hiring strategy. Oversee a team of Leaders that will drive hiring initiatives and execution. Build talent acquisition performance measurement system focused on operational excellence, hiring manager satisfaction and candidate experience. Assess talent acquisition talent; strengthen team as necessary – with a focus on development and engagement. Partner with HR and organizational effectiveness teams to develop and implement an integrated talent acquisition strategy, including internal mobility. Implement workforce planning in partnership with the operating programs to understand short and long-term talent needs.
The person hired into this role can sit in Roy, UT or remote in the U.S.
The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

Understanding of federal contracting requirements related to talent acquisition Experience supporting organizations with high volume of quick turn, specialized technical talent needs; experience with recruitment of cleared talent preferred Experience supporting high volume and varying sized business capture /proposal development efforts
Experience partnering with business to develop short and long-range workforce plans
Strong leader and collaborator; focused on organizational and team success Courageous; takes risks in ideas and actions to progress the organization
Solution-oriented; proven focus on operational excellence and innovation
Ability to provide strategic thought leadership; build strong relationships with superiors, peers and subordinates; collaborate across the organization; and influences without direct authority

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 + years of relevant experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition
5+ years supervisory experience with the ability to lead remote workers
Proven success with partnering with top leaders, leading change initiatives, and developing and managing talent acquisition strategies for organizations with a high-tech workforce
The individual selected will also have a proven track record as a trusted advisor and partner with business leadership, along with demonstrated project management, analytical and process orientation skills
Occasional travel required
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Certifications relevant to Human Resources.
Salary Range: 141400 – 223300
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
