Job Description

Develops and oversees implementation of current and long-term HR goals and objectives for all aspects of HR impacting engagement and service excellence.

Job Responsibility

• Leads an HR group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
• Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
• Directs and oversees all operations within the organization’s human resources function.
• Develops and implements organizational human resources policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legislation (including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA).
• Directs recruiting and onboarding for new employees, develops and deploys training and career development programs, approves salary structures or wage schedules, and negotiates benefits packages.
• Evaluates and selects HR-related vendors or service providers.
• Assists the leadership team in developing human resource strategies.
• Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.
• Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with the leadership.
• Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
