This position will support our Digital function at Nutrien Ag Solutions. This team is a highly technical set of individuals.
What you will do:
Partner with Digital leaders to ensure HR practices, policies and programs support enable and help drive the achievement of the businesses financial and strategic objectives
Oversee all people practices that support both our growth and efficiency agenda
Provide leadership to direct reports helping them engage with client groups and provide a people perspective to support the successful execution of the client’s business strategy
Serve as an unbiased consultant to the business to mitigate risk to the company by ensuring fair treatment and a balanced approach for those impacted by the implementation of new policy, procedures and/or organizational change, problem resolution and human capital decisions
Partner with leaders to anticipate future human capital requirements based on business, industry, and market conditions
Provide advanced HR expertise to client groups as it pertains to Total Rewards (pay, benefits, pension), Recruitment, Organizational Effectiveness, Learning & Development, Diversity Inclusion, M&A disciplines
Anticipate the impact that new or cyclical HR initiatives will have on the client groups and work with leaders to implement them accordingly
Partner with Digital leaders to design future state changes (people, process, and structure), prepare change plans, and engage with leaders to implement
Diagnose complex performance issues and work with leaders to prepare solutions and support solution implementation
Take lead role in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects within Nutrien
Work with client groups to champion the enterprise culture of continuous improvement by ensuring the appropriate talent structure, engagement model, performance management and recognition systems are in place
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources required; may consider experience in lieu of degree
10+ years of related experience including minimum one year in a mentor, supervisor or leadership role preferred
Strong compensation experience demonstrated through a successful track record of analyzing compensation issues and making recommendations
Strong business acumen with a keen aptitude to quickly assimilate new information
An innovative mindset and comfortable challenging the status quo
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with large HRIS/ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
Experience in a fast-paced environment, providing strategic direction from a human resources standpoint
Strong use of independent judgement to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to quickly interpret data, identify needs and recommend multiple possible solutions
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $94,800 – $130,350.
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid vacation, sick days and holidays as well as paid personal and maternity/parental leaves and an Employee and Family Assistance Program. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
