The Deputy Director for Strategy and Operations, reporting to the Director, is responsible for providing strategic and operational analysis related to in all areas of MoRMC’s portfolio, which includes: identifying financial, operational, integrity and reputational risks; developing and strengthening programs to mitigate risks; identifying potential significant monetary losses and/or failures to achieve program objectives; supporting agency internal audits; establishing internal audit standards; acting as liaison between City agencies and external auditors conducting performance audits; tracking implementation of audit recommendations; referring matters to other governmental bodies, including the New York City Department of Investigation and the NYC Law Department; and providing guidance to and coordinating with the Mayor’s Office of Municipal Services Assessment.
