HR Generalist will anticipate, assess and complete HR-related and front office administration tasks. He/She will seek to develop and communicate integrated solutions and formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
The HR Generalist will focus mainly on office administration, employee relations, policy and procedure development and interpretation, employee morale activities, new hire on-boarding, hiring/termination, and other human resources duties.
HR Generalist duties:
Provide performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
Coordinate on boarding and out processing for employees
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
Develop, implement and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company employees; provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation
Assist with benefits, HRIS management, and employee morale programs
Maintain Human Resource Information System records
HR Administration Duties:
Complete Employment Verification forms
Conduct Employee Orientation
File forms in employee records
Assist with event planning and execution
Assist with mailing out new hire packages
Order business cards, name plates, and other new hire SWAG
Photocopy and collate documents
Fax and file documents
Office Management Duties:
Answer and address incoming phone calls in a timely and polite manner
Deal with queries and provide correct information
Forward calls to appropriate person
Monitor, control and order office supplies
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Prepare outgoing mail for pick-up or courier
Keep reception area and conference rooms clean and neat
Organize and keep Kitchen neat and stocked
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
A degree or a minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources or Administration experience required.
Experience with assisting employees.
Willingness to learn a multiple human resource disciplines such as labor relations, affirmative action plan, employee relations, and federal and multiple state employment laws.
Strong communication, time management, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work independently and exhibit good judgement.
Experience with Deltek Time (timesheets) and UltiPro (HRIS) a plus
