Within the organization: Initiates and maintains frequent and close working relationships with facility and network human resources team members, facility executive leadership, network leadership and Odyssey leadership.
Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains frequent and close working relationships with Colleges/Universities, and human resource vendors.
Position Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
Actively participates in strategy development and operational planning for facilities within Odysseys care networks; understands implications of operational strategy and objectives, proactively anticipating and responding to operational needs.
Develops and ensures the execution of actionable, measurable, sustainable human resources strategies and tactical plans to support organizational objectives; talent acquisition, retention and engagement, performance management, employee relations, and talent development aligned with Odysseys culture and values.
Advises Network and Executive leadership on organizational design in support of growth and efficiency. This includes evaluating work structure, job design, and workforce forecasting, interdependencies, total rewards, and role and responsibility clarity.
Cultivates internal talent and retention through talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, and training/development.
Leads training and development planning, program development, and delivery across the organization.
Champions national initiatives, engagement campaigns, recognition programs, core values, and service standards to achieve short and long-range goals.
Collaborates with executive leadership to create and implement staffing budgets/ratios aligned with regulatory standards and financial budgeting.
Ensures staffing levels are maintained and meet all program needs and regulatory requirements.
Provides leadership and guidance to facility human resource team members across the organization, in collaboration with executive leadership.
Provides guidance for complex employee relations matters and performance management processes, including conflict mediation and risk mitigation.
Partners with talent acquisition teams and leadership to drive recruitment efforts utilizing applicant tracking system, proactive candidate sourcing, and pipeline development.
Ensures robust internship programs are in place at all locations, positioning all facilities as an employer of choice and preferred community partner to colleges and universities.
Conducts regular system and desk audits ensuring consistent accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all human resources data.
Ensures new hire orientation and onboarding processes are welcoming, informative, intentionally designed.
Ensures all training and development plans/activities meet compliance/accreditation needs while positively contributing to employee development.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensures all locations maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
Partners with Odyssey leadership to implement recognition and retention programs.
Attends internal and community meetings, as requested.
Performs other related duties assigned.

Education and Experience
Position requires a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 7+ years experience in Human Resources, with a minim 3 years of experience leading field based and remote teams within a Human Resources organizational structure, preferably within healthcare. PHR or SPHR certification or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to communicate with peers/general public, clients and/or vendors
Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building as well as sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell.
Must be able to travel in and out of state to all facilities within the network of services, as necessary.
Ability to move 25 pounds
Other Requirements
Position requires incumbent to have a valid drivers license, vehicle insurance and a clear driving record for the last three years.
