Position Summary
Recruiters are responsible for meeting hiring goals by identifying talented and qualified candidates. They are responsible for sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and passing on qualified candidates to the hiring manager for final interview and hiring decisions, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.
Essential Functions
· Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
· Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
· Manage the interview process, coordinating with the hiring manager for final interviews and tracking of hired applicants
· Ensure all screening and interviews are conducted in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Other Responsibilities
· Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
· Perform reference checks as need
· Conduct welcome calls before class begins
· Provide daily reports to Operations regarding pipeline, interviews and number hired
· Conduct analysis of candidate effectiveness post hire to determine hiring profile changes needed
· Submit final hiring roster to training and operations by supplied deadlines
· Meet hiring goals for each class
Education and Experience
· 1+ years of recruiting experience
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
· Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Comfortable making decisions
· Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HR systems with the ability to learn new technology quickly
· Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
· Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
· Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
