We are looking for a Staff Accountant who has experience in AP, AR, Payroll and Bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be patient, humble, and determined, along with demonstrating agility, optimism, organization, and empathy in their work. Responsibilities

• Fully versed in bookkeeping knowledge and concepts
• Generate highly detailed invoices
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations and monthly cash flow reports
• Financial statement preparation
• Payroll
• Monthly Auditing
• Track and monitor budget spending
• Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
• Manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative
• Correspondence with vendors

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in supervisory role with complete control of books, banking, budgeting, and reporting
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting or equivalent work experience
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
• NetSuite experience preferred
• 2 years of experience in administrative support functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat
• Keen eye for details
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
• Ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus
• Sense of urgency without compromising quality of work
• Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills (in person, on the phone and via email)
• Self-starter, manage assignments and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Take initiative in completing assignments, solving problems, and seeking a solution
• Personable and able to work effectively in both a collaborative and independent environment
• Demonstrate support for the team through enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Small & medium business experience
