Description:

We are looking for a leading HR professional to join our team! The core of this position requires you to ensure the integrity and completeness of all aspects of the Company’s human resource functions. This is the first full-time HR hire for our organization and you will have a unique opportunity to come in and work the department heads to set up a great HR function! We need to move quickly, add scalable processes, incorporate software, and develop training and learning programs. You will be responsible for the day to day HR operations associated with HR best practices across all functional areas in the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Senior Management in developing short and long-term objectives, goals and strategies
• Ensures human resource strategies and policies are consistent with established company-wide goals
• Administers operational plans, policies, and goals which further strategic objectives
• Partner with and enable managers to be their best as they manage and grow their organizations
• Strategize, reinvent, and execute onboarding, performance management, workforce planning and development, and off-boarding
• Own the HR technology by keeping HR tools up to date and organized, including during onboarding and off-boarding
• Understands and researches state laws and international laws and recommends best approaches for employment in those areas
• Serves on advisory boards and committees as requested.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, and updates policies to ensure compliance
• Ensures effective administration of the Company’s compensation, benefits, pension, and incentive programs. Provides recommendations to Senior Management that ensure appropriate service delivery and effective cost management
• Assist and supports personnel as needed
• Ensures the company’s professional reputation is maintained
• Represents the Company with various trade professionals and groups
• Ensures questions and concerns are promptly and courteously resolved

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree – Human Resources, Management, or degree in related field.
• Master’s degree in HR would be a plus.
• Certifications related to HR would be a plus.
• 8 to 12 years of HR professional experience.
• Understanding of compensation and benefits policies and programs, employee relations practices, and recruitment techniques.
• Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of human resource functions in the non-profit space a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, while maintaining accuracy of information and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
• Ability to multitask and balance priorities.
• Ability to work on-site in Salt Lake County.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite and/or GSuite skills.
• Knowledge and familiarity of QuickBooks and/or NetSuite ERP system helpful.
