Position Description:
This position oversees Compliance and Administrative areas of Human Resources operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Follows Human Resources policies to assure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
• Collaborate with Corporate HR Directors to communicate the associated requirements with every applicable HR-based regulatory and legal and compliance training programs
• Compile and communicate updates on every employee-based regulatory and legislative changes and/or modifications and ensuring that developments in rules and policies are restructured with HR practices, articles, policies, and systems
• Researching changes in rules and regulations, analyzing their effect on the company, and communicating findings to HR Leadership
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local FSLA rules and changes
• Ensure compliance with data security regulations like GDPR, the California Consumer Protection Act, Anti-Bribery and Corruption training, and HIPAA requirements.
• Responsible for the preparation and delivery of compliance-based communications and training to all team members
• Disseminates communication for training and maintains handling sensitive employee data or reports in a discreet manner
• Administers communication of training for various Human Resources plans and procedures for all venue personnel
• Administer and communicate The Work Number program ensuring employment verifications are completed in compliance with the law and in a timely manner
• Reviews and audits Corporate and venue Human Resources activities including Recruiting, pre-employment, Screening and interviewing, orientation and on-boarding, interviews, HRIS data,
• Create, administer, and maintain an Orientation and Onboarding program for all U.S. venues
• Assists in creating and coordinating training or trains HR Business Partners, and venue Management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment etc
• Adjudicate and process background check results for candidates according to the company Policy and Federal, State and Local Regulations. As well as ensuring all communication of pre-adverse and adverse action with the candidate observes all state and local statutes
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and compliance
• Assists with administration of Affirmative Action Plan
• Assists with creation and administration of performance review and salary administration programs
• Prepares employee separation notices according to State and local requirements related documentation and collects exit interview information to identify trends behind separations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may directly or indirectly supervise administrative employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company’s policies and applicable laws.
Requirements:
EDUCAITON AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university
• 5+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience administering compliance programs a plus.
• Combination of education and experience may be accepted.
• Strong working knowledge in Workday HCM, Recruiting and ESS modules.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Solid knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
• Familiarity with compliance programs and related state and federal regulations required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Professional appearance and attitude are essential.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• HR certification preferred.
