Basic Function:
The HR Manager will develop, implement, and manage company policies and procedures. Manage all functional areas within responsibility to include employee relations, benefits, training, and staffing. Ensure compliance is maintained in employment law as well as ensure legal compliance. Make recommendations that encompass trends and new developments within the human resources function. The HR Manager will report to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
· Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
· Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
· Supports organization staff by through a recruiting, and interviewing program; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
· Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
· Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
· Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
· Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
· Serves as a member of the organizations safety team and engagement committee.
Coordinates incident reporting, workers compensation claims and OSHA records.
· Coordinates disability cases with employee and vendor.
· Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness.
· Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
· Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors succession planning, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
· Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
· Manage the recruitment and selection process
· Manage all other aspects within relation to HR duties
· Nurture a positive working environment
QMS Responsibilities:
· Knowing the QMS requirements as they relate to them
· Complying with the organization Policies and Procedures Manual
· Complying with regulatory and statutory requirements
· Knowing and explaining the Quality Policy in their own words and how they impact carrying out the requirements of the policy in the job that they do

· In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
· Degree in Human Resources or related field
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: (Education and Training)
· A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ Human Resources experience
