Outreach Coordinator (Parks & Recreation) -Part-Time Government Job Dept-Parks Full Time

Nature of Work:

The Community Outreach personnel in this position is responsible for assisting with a wide variety of community programs. Under supervision, the individual selected will be tasked with strengthening, facilitating and supporting outreach effort to a variety of groups serving with in the community. The Community Outreach personnel works to promote and encourage individuals and groups to participate in the City’s recreation activities

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree with an emphasis in public relations, communication, or similar and one (1) years’ experience in marketing, public relations or similar field or High School Diploma or GED with two (2) years’ experience in marketing, public relations or similar field.

One (1) to Two (2) years’ Experience in community relations, public relations, communications, customer service, marketing, or community outreach.

Experience using Microsoft Office

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to successfully complete a Level 2 Background Check

Must have the ability to work various shifts

Valid Florida Driver’s license
