Operations Manager leads all staff and operations of the local branch. Operations Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, formulating overall strategy, managing employees’ performance, and establishing and implementing policies and procedures. To be successful in this role, the Operations Manager must be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker. Additionally, the Manager must be able to support employee development and productivity, while consistently ensuring company profitability.
The Operations Manager should have the skills to mentor assigned team members, implement procedures to increase the quality of customer service, work effectively across organizational lines, and to implement best practices across all levels.
Ultimately, the Operations Manager will be directly responsible for ensuring compliance with any and all internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
Responsibilities and Expectations
· Leads day-to-day operations
· Designs and implements strategies and set goals for growth
· Effectively manages budgets and controls expenses
· Ensures employees work productively and develop professionally
· Leads recruitment and training of new employees
· Reports maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment
· Conduct regular safety audits on equipment
· Take ownership of customer’s issues and follow problems through to resolution
· Evaluates and effectively implements operational and financial performance improvements
· Leads the employee assessment process and effectively deals with employee performance
· Prepares required and/or requested reports for upper management
· Ensures staff follows health and safety regulations
· Provides and effectively implements solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors, etc.)
· Responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of the facility
· Performs other related duties/tasks as assigne

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
