Paslin Hiring for HR & Travel Coordinator at Warren, MI Full Time

Summary:
The HR & Travel Coordinator position provides general support to the Human Resources function; manages system data and employee information; ensures compliance for assigned areas and assists the Comp & Benefits Manager with related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manages and maintains offsite employee & contractor timekeeping reports. Ensures metrics are accurate and all metrics are consistent across reporting

• File reports, documents, new employee files, etc for the HR department

• Prepares new hire files to be handed out at New Hire Orientation ensuring new employees have a robust and pleasant experience

• Process new hire I-9’s and completes verification in E-Verify

• Manages the employee uniform program and ensures all invoices and deductions are correct and processed properly

• Develops and maintains company organizational charts though OrgChart Now

• Coordinates and books travel ensuring all travel policies and processes are followed

• Processes necessary documentation such as passports, visas, or other clearances

• Maintains applicable federal, state, and local required postings

• Manage special projects as assigned

• Provide day to day administrative support to the Comp & Benefits Manager

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED

• 1+ years experience with coordinating corporate travel

• Strong administrative skills

• Effective time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and to work under time constraints/under pressure

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Strong integrity, credibility and commitment to the corporate mission

• Confidential with all information and conversations

• Excellent follow through skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Work Environment:
This is an on-site position operates in both an office environment and plant environment.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and be present on the plant floor.

Expected Hours of Work:
This position works 40 hours per week and involves longer hours when required.

Travel:
This position may require in town travel, among Paslin locations (4).
