The Role
PEI are looking for an organised, data driven, confident, empathetic, and commercially minded HR Manager to join our New York team. This role will report directly into the HR Director (based in London) and will have direct reporting responsibilities for the HR operations team in the US.
We are looking for a candidate who will work enthusiastically having autonomy over the US HR and Operations function, encompassing responsibility across employee benefits, employee relations, performance management, management and leadership support, on and off-boarding, policy writing and implementation and risk mitigation/employment law.
This is a busy, varied, and challenging generalist role. The successful candidate will form part of a global HR team consisting of a recruitment team, an operations & facilities team and HR personnel.
It is a ‘roll your sleeves up’ kind of role, with both strategic and operational elements. Key attributes of the successful candidate will include a strong passion and focus on equality diversity and inclusion, strong vendor/stakeholder management skills, as well as some experience in managing budgets.
