The key role of product manager at Phase2 is to help our clients accomplish their goals by delivering exceptional products through the planning and execution of quality digital solutions. This starts with understanding the problems that need to be solved and making sure the project team stays focused on solving them. Product managers need to see the whole picture, from the high-level strategic vision down to the smallest implementation details, and ensure that the right work is being done at the right time to facilitate delivery of the highest quality product.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the project team, keeping the team focused on delivering a goals-based product. Understand the vision and strategic goals for the product and through communication and alignment with key stakeholders
• Coordinate with members of the project team (UX, Design, Content, Data & Insights, Digital Strategy) to design and deliver a product that meets the needs of the stakeholders and the users
• Develop and manage a detailed product roadmap, identifying and documenting the features that will be part of the product scope, and ensure ongoing alignment throughout development process
• Build and maintain the product backlog of user stories and defects. Work with the development team and stakeholders to prioritize user stories and ensure product status is communicated in a timely and effective manner. Validate that the completed stories meet acceptance criteria and that appropriate testing has been completed prior to release to production.
• Serve as Product Owner to drive the agile development of digital products, features and process enhancements. Lead/Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, and sprint reviews and retrospectives. Demonstrate developed functionalities during sprint reviews.
• Recommend feature and scope changes as needed during the development cycle to ensure the product strategy remains in alignment with the business strategy.
• Participate in client-facing milestone review and UAT and obtain/process client feedback for incorporation into future milestones.
• Create documentation & user guides, as well as conduct user training with the client team, ensuring a successful hand off of the final product

Qualifications:

• 5+ years working cross-functionally with UX, Design, and Development teams to define, document, and prioritize product features and user stories for digital products.
• Experience in a wide-range of technical projects, especially managing a portfolio of concurrent projects
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present work to clients professionally, with confidence and poise
• Strong problem-solving skills, computer skills and excellent organizational skills
• Proven experience with Drupal, Jira, Google Suite, Slack

Phase2 has contracts with the federal government, subjecting it to federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
