Essential Functions:
• Required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
• Actively participate in the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Focus on the Indianapolis branch.
• Provides support with labor relations, employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment law and regulations. Work with the policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, safety, and workers compensation programs.
• Processes required paperwork for new hires, transfers, promotion, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters for Indianapolis.
• Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional matter.
• Work close with Human Resources Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
• Team collaboration.
Experience and Education
• Associate degree in Human Resources, or related fields.
• A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations’ facilities.
