HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
In this newly-created add to our HR team. The HR Generalist we seek is a team contributor and collaborator; must be fluent in Hmong in order to best support our diverse employee base.

The Human Resources Generalist provides hands-on support for the day-to-day human resource operation in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, payroll, compensation, and training in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment. Under the guidance and supervision of the Human Resources Director and the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist will partner with managers and their teams with their human resource related needs. The Human Resources Generalist ensures strict compliance with the state and federal regulations, including accurate display of labor law posters, timely OSHA reporting, and all other required reports, and claims. The Human Resources Generalist ensures ProMed’s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management, and 2-5 years’ human resources generalist experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Proficiency in Hmong language (for the purpose of translation including ability to deliver training on HR-related topics to employees and staff);
Comprehensive knowledge of general human resources practices and procedures and HR best practices;
Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the human resources function;
Understands and has working knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal; professional, courteous and friendly personality;
Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-sensitive skills;
Proficiency in office technology including Microsoft Office Suite and social networking tools. Strong Microsoft Excel skills to enable Generalist to manipulate, analyze, calculate and communicate compensation data;
Ability to create positive working relationships with a diverse group of people including gender, ethnicity, age, and cultural and skill level differences;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
