Summary:

Seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources Professional to champion Qualfon’s internal Pre-Employment Background Check Process as a Person Office Adjudicator. Under the direction of the Corporate Person Office & Programs Manager, this position is actively involved in the daily operations of the background check screening program. This role requires proficiency, experience, and knowledge of federal and state background drug screening regulations with 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources or legal/compliance, preferably in a high-volume call-center environment.

Main Objective and Duties:

Responsible for day-to-day administration of Background Check processes in accordance with Qualfon corporate policies and procedures. Performs a variety of administrative functions and serves as the liaison between centers of excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Training, Compliance and Field Person Office personnel as needed.

• Support the management of all aspects of background screening, including communications, adjudications, continued internal due diligence, auditing and relationship management client and candidates
• Track candidates through the process to ensure background check screening is complete
• Assist with ensuring background processes is compliant with all related laws and regulations at both the Federal, State, and Local levels
• Maintain internal database management, integrity of data, and design with management of reports, while maintaining complete confidentiality
• Perform individual job analysis and risk assessment
• Assist with the development of analytical tools to ensure relevant program data is reportable to the appropriate stakeholders
• Track and Follow-up items as identified by the Person Office Leadership to ensure the best client and candidate experiences
• Be able to handle adversity and tense situations
• Assist and support internal investigations involving background screening issues and identifying solutions
• Ensure that internal customers’ needs are met, and internal satisfaction of the background practices are optimal
• Provide support for all day-to-day departmental functions and perform as back-up to other process as crossed trained
• Adhere to company guidelines and policies
• All other tasks as assigned

Additional Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a Human Resources, Legal and/or Compliance role required
• PBSA Basic Certification preferred, but not required
• Exceptional organizational skills with an extremely strong attention to detail
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, problem solving, program and project management skills required
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups required
• Strategic thinker, with the ability to analyze information and make sound judgments /decisions, required
• Knowledge of Fair Credit Reporting Act laws and regulations both state and federal preferred
• Advanced knowledge of computer-based applications (EXCEL, Acrobat Adobe, Word, etc.) required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment required
• Ability to work in team driven environment required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
