POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for the human resources administrative functions which include recruitment and interview process, onboarding, training coordination, performance management and state compliance for new hires.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
Drives recruitment and interview process;
Tracks status of candidates in ATS;
Conducts initial phone screens;
Partners with administrative support to schedule interviews;
Works with universities to attract new talent;
Partners with LinkedIn on recruiting strategies
Monthly reporting
Leads the new hire preparation and onboarding process;
Coordinates with hiring managers regarding start dates, onboarding meetings, and IT needs;
Submits and reviews all background checks;
In coordination with admin, finalizes all new hire paperwork to ensure compliant, accurate and signed;
Conducts new hire onboarding;
Partners with Head of HR on performance management system (Share and Perform); ensures completed timely and recorded properly;
Sets up and maintain all employee files; keep them current according to all state and federal retention requirements;
Maintain all state and federal required postings, email communication to ensure the company is compliant;
Partnering with Head of HR, prepare training presentations, identify external sources for training materials and maintain training calendar;
Perform other duties as assigned;
Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature and workshops;
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
Experience:
3+ years’ experience in a Human Resources role; with at least two years recruiting experience;
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business; or related years of experience;
Good understanding of governing HR laws and guidelines;
Experience with an ATS (Isolved preferred);
Proven organizational and detail-oriented skill set;
Proven ability to move from task to task and keep multiple pending items in the air at one time;
Must be open to change and be flexible at all times; must have experience in a fast-paced work environment
Must have soft skills:
Independently driven, hardworking and committed;
Good, clear communication skills and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done;
Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts to achieve a positive outcome;
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or Business preferred; experience may compensate for lack of degree
