Position Summary:
Reliance Electric is looking for a HR Coordinator to help grow the organization! The ideal candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work with others and above all a passion for coordinating the day-to-day HR processes, programs, and initiatives.
Primary Duties:
- Completes 30- and 70-day check ins
- Completes onboarding for new hires
- Coordinates new hire orientation needs (i.e., speakers, travel requests, food, I-9 verification, etc.)
- Screening and interviewing candidates including administrating an online assessment
- Assist in negotiating salaries, making offers and working with the Chief People Officer
- Completes exit interviews
- Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws
- Process HR paperwork timely
- Respond to employee questions and concerns
- Contribute to and maintain accurate HRIS data
- Coordinates collection of licensing documents
- Launches background and motor vehicle checks
- Compile data trends on company processes
- Manages employee files
- Other duties, as assigned
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- 1+ year human resources support experience
- 1+ year administrative experience
- Social media experience; LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, etc.
- Attention to detail, organized, process oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft applications
- Ability to work with all levels within an organization including senior management/executives
- Strong time management skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
As we are a small employer, employees are expected to have regular and punctual attendance
Salary: $19.00 – $31.00/hour, commensurate with experience
