Rich Ice Cream Company, one of the largest providers of ice cream novelties for schools in the country is looking for a Business Operations Manager.

We feel it is a great opportunity for someone that is excited and open to learning new things and is willing to wear multiple hats. The new team member’s primary responsibilities will be:

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Identifying and implement best business practices where change is necessary.
• Identify cost improvement opportunities and development and monitor the execution of action plans to make it happen
• Design new processes to improve safety, boost productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Establish ongoing programs to ensure continuous improvement.
• Create and monitor performance metrics and measurements related to individuals, teams, and processes.
• Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Set KPI and analyze current and past trends
• Help create and/or review SOP’s across all departments
• Provide decision support and analysis on capital investments by using ROI financial modeling.
• Contribute to the development and accuracy of product cost
• Analyze data and create reports that are timely, accurate, and insightful.
• Interact with other departments to gather input, handle concerns, and educate on various processes
• Promote an environment of creativity and partnering among all departments
• Quickly adapt to different working environments, build relationships and be able to both work and lead teams efficiently for success.
• Assist with IT Support
• Assuming additional projects and responsibilities as the need arises

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy
• Flexible and able to prioritize multiple task
• Proven initiative and willingness to drive change, with a spotlight on innovation, process improvement and solving problems
• Basic self-awareness and an understanding of how personal behavior impacts others
• Strong analytical, technological and organizational skills
• Experience leading projects
• Experienced in project management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Previous experience conducting on-the-job training (individual or large groups) preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Excel)
