About the Position:
Assists in administering human resources policies and procedures. Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc., to help make recommendations for improvement. Processes paperwork for functional areas according to established procedures. May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
Essential Responsibilities

Provides input on employment decisions (terminations, disciplinary, hiring, etc.) to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Assists employees regarding benefits, personnel policies, and other employee concerns.
Prepares and maintains accurate personnel files on all employees assuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Assist with bi-weekly payroll work hours and update vacation and sick leave in the payroll system as needed.
Assist employees with our HR Management system.
Participate in the completion of annual benefits open enrollment.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance management.
Attends all RMI functions and job-specific training as needed.
All other HR duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Attributes, Education, and Experience:
Requires bachelor’s degree plus one year of related experience OR a combination of education/experience to equal 5 years.
Minimum of 1-3 years of Human Resource experience.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task
Strong communication skills.
Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with a diverse team.
Ability to maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
Handles conflict directly and discreetly.
Interacts with employees positively and helpfully.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and human resource information systems.
