SARC, Inc Hiring for Human Resources Manager- 20 hr/wk at Bel Air, MD Full Time

SARC, a small non profit agency serving victims of domestic and sexual violence is seeking a PT HR Generalist. This position will work a flexible 20 hour/week schedule. Must be available to respond to emails and phone calls Monday through Friday. Position allows for telework with in-person meetings at Agency headquarters in Bel Air, Maryland depending on business needs.

Responsibilities:

· Serve as primary HR resource in the facility – answering general benefit, policy & payroll questions.

· Manages all benefits enrollments; prepare and distribute enrollment packets, effectively communicate to ensure timely completion.

· Responsible for monitoring and processing facility payroll process including: Printing and editing daily punch detail reports, Ensuring punches are accurate, Entering any special shift differential, sick, vacation, and holiday hours. Processing any payroll changes (New Hires or Separations).

· In collaboration with program supervisor, recruits employees by preparing and placing classified job advertisements, screening applications, background checks, employment verification, reference checks, and drafting offer letters.

· Onboarding and off boarding.

· Employee Relations.

· Partners with Leadership team to oversee safety of the workforce.

· Review and revise employee handbook as necessary. Ensure updates are communicated and posted.

Successful candidate will have:

· Bachelors Degree and a min 2- 4 yrs experience as an HR generalist

· Effective communication skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to multi task

· Detailed oriented

· Active PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
