Overview of Opportunity :
The Product Manager will be responsible for end-to-end definition, development and management of SealingTech’s EDCOP software platform. You will drive the strategy and develop a roadmap for our software platform. It is an opportunity for a motivated and results oriented individual to prove their abilities and cultivate success. You will drive innovation within SealingTech products by evaluating, optimizing, and creating a 360 approach to how we release software and ultimately raise our software sales. A few of your daily tasks would include working with the development team on agile processes including sprints, epics, closeouts and release processes. This is a full-time position seated in Columbia, Maryland but may spend time at our Integration Facility in Stevensville, Maryland as well. This team member will be an invaluable contributor within the Products and R&D team. We only want to hear from you if you are ready to rise to the occasion.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define customer needs and requirements for deployment and defensive cyber solutions
- Define and manage software platform product roadmap
- Defining software products from scratch and fully deliver products to market
- Drive and manage day to day scrums and agile development processes
- Interface with IR&D team on system requirements
- Drive proof of concepts, prototypes, beta, and production releases
- Provide sales and business development support as needed
- Create partnerships with third-party software providers
- Engage in all phases of new product introduction
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- College Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on software product management (not web based)
- Experience with agile development processes
- Understanding of automation tools, software development tools and SIEM packages
- Understanding of open-source licensing and support models
- Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies
- Strong critical and creative thinking skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes, virtual machines and other software environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile certified product manager
- Experience with open-source products such as Security Onion, RockNSM, Ansible
- Ability to obtain a clearance
- Experience with DoD/Government customers
