Seattle Colleges is hiring an Associate Vice Chancellor of Strategic Enrollment Management in the Office of the Chancellor.
Salary Range for this position is $126,196.00 to $174,271.00, annually.

Position Summary
Seattle Colleges is hiring an inaugural Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategic Enrollment Management. Under the supervision of the Chancellor this role serves as the key leader to execute and grow a fully collaborative model that maximizes the quality and effectiveness of the Seattle Colleges enrollment functions and initiatives. Within the districtwide strategic plan, develops and implements a strategy that centers on the improvement, development, and expansion of strategic enrollment management efforts across the 3 colleges and various college sites.
This position supervises program leader positions related to backend districtwide enrollment functions.

What you will be working on:
- As a member of the Chancellor’s Executive Cabinet, the Associate Vice Chancellor provides data informed guidance related to enrollment services across the district.
- Develop Seattle Colleges’ overall strategic enrollment management (SEM) plan. The SEM plan, using student centered approach, will evaluate community needs and Seattle Colleges’ organizational strengths to identify opportunities for future growth for each college and the district overall.
- Lead and direct the districtwide enrollment functions, processes, and procedures, as they relate to admissions, financial aid, and registration.
- Evaluate and measure process and procedures from students applied to students enrolled. And, subsequently, provide recommendations to presidents and chancellor on areas for improvement especially resources and organizational structure.
- Organize and facilitate current and future SEM-related committees corresponding to strategic enrollment, retention, and completion efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, Guided Pathways, Strategic Enrollment and Equity Management, and the Re-engineering Enrollment Taskforce.
- Aligns enrollment strategy with EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) strategies to ensure all related efforts contribute to becoming an anti-racist/anti-biased organization while revising systems, processes, and practices to disrupt inequitable outcomes.
- Develop and foster collaborative relationships with other executive leaders (including presidents) and district or college units to support SEM-supportive strategies.
- Utilize effective budget management to oversee assigned college or grant budgets.

What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)
- Master’s degree
- Senior level experience in enrollment management, admissions and registration or other Student Services systems, or related area
- Five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in Higher Education
- Student-centered leadership orientation to foster program improvement, development and evaluation
- Experience leading large strategic initiiatives
- Experience planning and managing college- or institution-wide projects
- Experience in successful budget development and management
- Demonstrated experience leading in a diverse environment and achieving outcomes that eliminate or reduce bias
- Knowledge of Strategic Enrollment Management
- Ability to work as a collaborator leading high profile strategic enrollment program initiatives with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of Higher Education regulations/legislation and accreditation requirements, including academic programming and related policy
- Knowledge of or Experience with multi-college, multi-campus community college district environment
- Knowledge of best practices in data utilization for strategic planning and decision-making
- Ability to utilize computer technology to access data and communicate data findings
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a large, diverse and complex educational organization in a shared governance environment
- Ability to manage people and issues and to make and communicate decisions effectively and in a timely manner
- Outstanding interpersonal skills in coalition- and consensus-building with colleagues and stakeholders
