Job Description
SGC is looking for a Talent Acquisitions Coordinator, which will be based out of our Mooresville, North Carolina office. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle recruiting experience, well versed in the research, development, and implementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The individual must have the ability to shift between responsibilities, document control, assisting Human Resources, and talent/client-facing situations. Part of each workweek will be spent communicating across multiple offices/states to support all recruiting needs.
Essential Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily as noted:
Facilitates all phases of the recruitment process.
Work with hiring managers to identify hiring criteria.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Effectively tracks all applicants in appropriate software while completing reporting for management
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Post-secondary education or demonstrated proficiency in recruiting/staffing, human resources, or business administration
At least 2 years of managing all phases of a recruitment process are highly preferred with an emphasis on sourcing and building candidate pools within a construction/surveying environment
Excellent verbal, written, computer, internal consulting, and customer-focused communication and presentation skills
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
Organizational ability and the capacity to manage multiple tasks, details, and deadlines
Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at multiple management and business unit levels and locations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take on additional responsibilities and challenges
Will be expected to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook. Some PowerPoint may be needed.
Work Environment
Office environment with prolonged periods of sitting/standing and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 20 lbs. at a time
