Process payroll for company including review and approval of timesheets. Work as liaison with supervisors to resolve payroll discrepancies. File payroll reports in folders and upload payroll entries to GL. Track PTO time, verify employee payroll deductions, garnishments, 401K payments. Union reports, certified payrolls when required and health benefit reconciliations.
Departmental allocation of monthly benefit costs as well as journal entries for benefit costs, union expenses, vacation and payroll accruals. Prepare offer letters for potential new employees. Complete all benefit forms for new employees.
Responsible for unemployment, workers compensation and garnishee filings as well as working with local union representative in FL.
